Kyle Balda is coming to GOBELINS Summer School 2016
This year, GOBELINS, L’école de l’image is organizing the new edition of its Parisian Summer School in Character Animation. From July 4th to July 15th, this two-week programme will welcome both professional and aspiring animators from all around the world who wish to gain a better understanding of what makes for successful character animation.
“Les GOBELINS has become the epicenter for French artists who are interested in animation”, says Kyle Balda, co-director of Minions who has participated in the programme from the beginning. Balda, who will be intervening once again this year, describes the Summer School as the sharing of a lively and unforgettable experience with animators from all different backgrounds but all driven by the same passion. “There’s nothing that I know of, that’s creating that sort of environment”. What makes this programme so special is its international dimension and also its context: you will be studying in the heart of Paris, in the world-famous school GOBELINS, which ranked n°1 Animation School worldwide this year, with animators you will create long-term professional and personal relationships with.
So seize this incredible and unique opportunity to spend two weeks immersed in Character Animation and surrounded by some of the most renowned names of the industry.
