GOBELINS, an innovative school at the cutting edge of technology
If image technologies never cease to evolve, the real issue resides in the mastering of communication, be it printed, online (web, mobile) or interactive (advertisements, social media), and whether it uses gaming (information and training transmitted by serious games) or entertainment techniques (animation films, sound design).
The new masters of images must therefore imagine new uses and new services (internet, mobility, cloud computing, enhanced reality, real time).
GOBELINS adapts and innovates in its training fields:
- Focusing on technological developments, training in multimedia has become more and more present in the interactive communication landscape. Study projects directly seek to work on the new uses of communication in terms of design, conception of graphic interfaces, in order to offer reflections on new tactile interfaces or motion design and while adapting to different types of web, mobile and video supports.
- To answer the need of training in video game professions, and more specifically social games, the school offers a Master’s Degree specialized for designers and engineers in « Interactive digital experiences » in partnership with National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts (CNAM)/ École Nationale du Jeu et des Médias Interactifs Numériques (ENJMIN).
- As a pioneer in Animated Filmmaking, GOBELINS’ course acquired an international reputation and keeps adapting to the evolutions of the required skills to be an Animator.
