GOBELINS, l’école de l’image, is proud to welcome the first class of its new Master of Arts in Character Animation and Animated Filmmaking, in English !
Is the number of international young animators who arrived two weeks ago in GOBELINS. They will stay with us for two years to further develop their skills in animation within the last two years of our four-year programme in Character Animation and Animated Filmmaking. In their last year, they will team up with the students of our 4th year French class and produce graduation films.
The pedagogical teams have taken a great care during the selection process in selecting talents coming from all around the world to form a class of 17 different nationalities.
The school is also particularly vigilant in providing opportunities to young talents from all backgrounds. Our teams have worked closely with organisations that have generously supported the project such as the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Film and Video Foundation in South Africa and the French Fondation Odon Vallet. The fruit of this close cooperation is 38 % of the enrolled students are now partial or full scholarship holders.
We believe that promotion, support and preservation of cultural diversity is the future of creative industries. This inclusivity will promote a unique energy that inspires innovation and production. It will provide our students from all programmes the ability to enter, adapt and thrive on their own terms into a globalised world. It will give them the taste for multicultural teamwork, cooperative learning and a spontaneous drive for co-producing.
By launching this programme, Gobelins is proud to enter in a new era of proactive policy of cultural diversity and equal opportunities.
A warm welcome to our international class!
The teams and the students of Gobelins wish you two years of learning, inspiration and success but most of all of happiness!
Welcome to the future!
