Guillermo del Toro launches the ANIMEXICO grant to train young Mexican animators in France in GOBELINS

Alejandro Ramírez Magaña, Président of FICM, Guillermo del Toro, Director, Cécile Blondel, Head of International Relations at GOBELINS  et Daniela Michel, Founding Director of FICM.

On the occasion of the 15th edition of the Morelia Festival in Mexico, the famous director announced the launch of this new programme with the support of Cinépolis.

ANIMEXICO is a scholarship programme aimed at Mexican students in animation admitted at GOBELINS to the first Year of the Master of Arts in Character Animation and Animated Filmmaking.
The scholarship covers the school fees and the living costs. 

"The important thing is that there is a motivation for the people who make animation, so that they can know where to look"said Guillermo del Toro during this announcement.
