Valentin LUCAS

After graduating from Gobelins with the short film Hors de l’Eau, Valentin Lucas worked in Spain on the feature film Klaus as a 2D animator. He then moved to the USA to work with LAIKA studios as a 2D Character artist and storyboard artist on the feature film Wildwood. After his time at LAIKA, Valentin moved to La Reunion to work as a 2D animator on the feature film Sirocco et le Royaume des Courants d’Air. In the past 3 years, he has been teaching online classes to introduce students to 2D animation. Now, he’s recovering from cancer and is returning slowly to the animation industry.
