Two graduation shorts selected for the Berlin Film Festival!
Antoine and Mathilde, freshly graduated in animation from GOBELINS, still can't believe it: after a nomination at the Annie Awards 2020, the award ceremony for the most respected animation in Hollywood and in the world, their short "Un diable dans la poche" has been selected at the Berlin Film Festival in the "Generation Kplus" category. "Wonderful! It's unbelievable! We are so happy and proud to be selected in this famous festival. A thousand thanks to all those who supported our film: it means a lot to us and we can't wait to live this Berlin adventure."
The same atmosphere for "Black Sheep Boy", a philosophical short film by James Molle, also a young director from the class of 2019 graduates sponsored by the famous director Michel Ocelot. His short film was selected in the "Generation 14plus" category at the Berlinale.
"It's a Premiere for GOBELINS! We hadn't yet had the honor to see one of our student films selected by this prestigious festival. Now it's done and it's a double success! ", rejoices Nathalie Berriat, Director of the school.
The festival takes place in the German capital from 20 February to 1 March.
