Red Sea International Film Festival
GOBELINS Paris was invited to the "Red Sea International Film Festival" at the initiative of Generation 2030.
Timothée Dufour and Soha Alharbi, the founder and the president of the Franco-Saudi association, welcomed Agnès Billard (Head of the 1st Cycle of Animated Film Training), at Jeddah, in order to pursue the development of partnerships in the field of training and education in the animation and video game industry in the region.
Among highlights of this week was meeting with Mahmoud R Zaini, former student of the 3D Character Animator Bachelor program, who has founded since his own Zaini Animation Studios, participating in the inauguration of a brand new cinema within the Jameel Arts Centre dedicated to the arts.
GOBELINS Paris visited the Effat University's College of Architecture and Design and was received by the School of Cinematic Arts' Chairman, Dr. Mohamed Ghazala, in the company of among others, famous French director of animated films Michel Ocelot, and Raïssa Lahcine Wisniewski, Head of International Relations of the Ecole nationale supérieure Louis Lumière.
